Talland Bay to Polperro coastal walk

The Talland Bay to Polperro coastal walk is a great choice to take in the views and get to know the local area. From The Bay Talland, head west towards the picturesque fishing village of Polperro. This one and a half mile walk takes about 45 minutes each way. Explore Polperro’s shops, cafes and pretty harbour before heading back along the coast. Like all the best Looe walks, this one finishes back in the comfort of your holiday cottage.

Talland Bay to Looe walk

Although longer, this route is slightly less steep than the walk to Polperro. From The Bay Talland, follow the South West Coast Path east for approximately three miles to reach Looe’s popular old town. Allow about an hour each way, or longer if you’re planning to stop and admire the views along the route. Enjoy a day out in Looe, stopping for something to eat before you return along the path of one of the most popular Looe walks.

Talland circular walk

Away from the coastline and the busy tourist areas, the quiet hamlet of Talland is a perfect location for a peaceful stroll. A short walk from The Bay Talland, you’ll find its scattering of houses and cottages, plus an ancient church. From here, a walk across fields will bring you to the South West Coast Path, where you can loop back to your holiday cottage.
