Talland Bay Beach Cafe

Tasty food and unbeatable views are on the menu at this small cafe, which is open daily from March to the end of October. Right on the beach and just a few minutes’ walk from The Bay Talland, it’s one of our guests’ top picks for places to eat in Looe. Order a tea or coffee with a slice of home-made cake after a walk along the coast path. The lunch menu includes a range of hot and cold dishes, including meals for kids. A definite must for all our guests.

The Sardine Factory

Award-winning chef Benjamin Palmer returned to his home town of Looe to open The Sardine Factory, which overlooks the town’s picturesque harbour. If you love fresh seafood, this is one of the best places to eat in Looe. The menu – which includes fish and chips, of course – changes regularly to make the most of the freshest catches available from the Looe market. There’s a kid’s menu too. Well behaved dogs are welcome at lunchtime.

Ye Old Salutation Inn

This traditional, friendly pub has a good choice of drinks and a menu of hearty pub food. It’s another of the best places to eat in Looe town centre, especially if you enjoy a real ale with your meal. It’s family-friendly and dogs are welcome.

The Coddy Shack
