Blow away the winter cobwebs and come on a walking holiday in Cornwall and stay at The Bay Talland.
We’ve put together an itinerary for you so you don’t even need to think about where to go when you get here.
Day 1 – Head to Looe and soak up the atmosphere
Check in to one of our luxury homes as use us your base to explore the stunning surrounding area.
We have direct access to the South West Coast Path which offers fantastic views and is very well trodden.
Walk East to Looe – approximately 3 miles (allow about 1 1/2 hours each way) passing waterfalls and pastureland. You’ll come across the remains of the Chapel of Lamanna built by the Glastonbury monks! This point marks the entrance to Looe.
Explore this charming harbour town’s beauty and stop off at a few pubs along the way . We highly recommend The Globe Inn and The Jolly Sailor.
Then walk on to one of the quayside restaurants for your evening meal of fresh off the boat seafood – yum!
When you’re suitably full and tired head back (you may want to get a taxi depending on how much you ate/drank!) to your warm cosy holiday home for an evening in front of the fire or enjoy a dip in the hot tub.
Day 2 – Explore the delights of Polperro
Head off West to Polperro – 1 1/4 miles (allow 55 minutes each way) and follow the coast path around Talland Hill. The route then departs the coast and heads on to Reuben’s Walk, past the lighthouse and into Polperro.
While in Polperro, take in the picturesque harbour and roam the traffic free narrow lanes lined with cute little independent shops.
For lunch you’ll also be able to enjoy more fresh, locally caught produce in the many cafes, pubs and restaurants in the harbour.
Head back from the centre of the village over Talland Hill where you’ll see fantastic views of the bay!
Sounds like the perfect weekend to us!
