Simple Ways to Save Energy and Reduce Waste:

• Please turn off lights when leaving a room or the flat roof areas   

• Ensure all lights are off when you go out for the day

• Turn off outside lights when not required (especially during the day)

• Do lights need to be on in the day when there is sufficient daylight?

• Use the eco button on appliances if applicable

• Turn all appliances off (TVs etc) when not in use

• Don’t leave water taps running unnecessarily

• Turn the heating down when you go out for the day

• Don’t have the heating on when the doors and windows are open

• Use lids on saucepans when cooking on the hob

• Don’t leave the cooker or hob on when not in use

• Put the hot tub cover back on when not in use

• Dispose of rubbish in the correct bins

• Use compost bins where possible
