Keltique Christmas Concerts
Keltique are hosting an array of Christmas concerts throughout the festive period to bring joy to all attending and to raise funds for nominated charities. If music always gets you in the festive mood, then make sure you head to one of their amazing Christmas concerts and experience the magic for yourself, we guarantee it’ll be a great night!
Christmas Markets
Christmas markets are being held in West Looe this year on November 30th and December 14th. If you’re in the area on these dates, make sure you head over and explore all the seasonal goods that will be on offer. Browse gift stalls from lovely local businesses and artisans to find unique presents for friends and family. There are plenty of other markets going on around Looe and Polperro between now and Christmas, so you’re sure to find some festivities no matter when you’re visiting us.
Christmas Shopping Nights
On the 29th November and the 5th, 12th and 19th of December, East Looe’s businesses will be open until 8pm for festive evening shopping and much more. Make a proper evening of your Christmas shopping and enjoy all of the seasonal window displays, listen to the choirs and musicians bring the streets alive, and keep the kids entertained with a visit to Santa’s grotto, facepainting, find the elf competition and much more!
Heligan Night Garden
Slightly further afield but still worth the mention, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are hosting enchanting lantern experiences filled with dazzling Christmas lights to really get visitors in the Christmas spirit. Located in the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan, the evening is sure to be filled with warmth, festive cheer and alluring lights.

Of course here at The Bay Talland we’ll also be indulging in the festivities and making the season magical for all of our guests. We’ll be hosting a jolly gathering with live music, drinks and nibbles for our guests, getting everyone together to celebrate the festive period!

Seeing in the New Year in Cornwall

Looe firework display and dress-up
The people of Looe know how to make NYE one to remember! With two firework displays being held at 6pm and midnight, there’s an opportunity for the whole family to take part in the celebrations. To make things even more spectacular, guests are encouraged to come along in fancy dress to see the year out in style! Plenty of pubs and bars in the area will be open until the early hours for those who want to carry on the celebrations into 2025.
Quayside Centre Family Disco and BBQ
In addition to the big new year celebrations above, the Quayside Centre will be hosting a free family disco and BBQ with face painting for the little ones too! Head over between 5pm-7pm to get involved in the festive fun. From 7pm onwards there will be a ticketed event with a live DJ until the early hours.
